"The Language of Love” and "The Heritage of the Great Steppe"

The Language of Love” is a vivid and philosophical performance in which the acclaimed choreographer pays homage to the poetry of classic Kazakh literature through a combination of techniques and choreographic discoveries.

The Heritage of the Great Steppe concert program has become a signature performance of the theatre, both at home and abroad. The beauty and tenderness of the female dance in the productions of the Honored Figure of Kazakhstan, Aigul Tati, captivates and delights audiences.

The premiere of the “Two Carpets” 

“Two Carpets” is a story about the friendship of a girl, Leyla, and a boy, Samir, from Baku, which develops into a single love story, about separations and losses, about temptation and loyalty. Fate intervenes and sends Samir, who lost his memory after the war, to Vienna. He has Margot, a woman who loves him. But a stroke of luck and a carpet woven in his homeland help him remember his beloved and return to her.

The programme for the festive concert “Mangi Yel”, dedicated to Republic Day, will feature a selection of choreographic pieces that embody the invaluable richness and diversity of Kazakh traditional dance, which is inextricably linked to the history and culture of the Kazakh people. Thanks to the skill of the dancers and the imagination of the choreographers, the most important and most beautiful type of dance is presented on stage: bright, colourful and diverse folk stage dance. It is a kind of encyclopedia of the life of the people, a reflection of their aspirations, wisdom and perseverance.
