On the eve of International Women's Day, the “Astana Ballet” Theater presents a grand gala concert with the participation of Kazakh ballet stars. On March 6 and 7, viewers will be able to enjoy masterpieces of the classical choreography and modern current experiments performed by brilliant soloists of the country's leading ballet theaters.
In one evening on the stage of the “Astana Ballet” Theater will perform Farkhad Buriyev, Kazbek Akhmedyarov, Tatyana Ten, Aizhan Mukatova, Sundet Sultanov (the leading soloists of the “Astana Ballet” Theater), Bakhtiyar Adamzhan (the premiere of the “Astana Opera”), Zhanel Tukeeva, Malika Yelchibaeva, Rakhim Dairov (the leading soloists of KazNATOB) and others.
“The program of the gala concert, as well as its cast, is selected with great care. This is an ongoing creative process, therefore, the detailed program, as well as the full list of gala participants, we keep secret until the last moment. Of course, we are very glad that so many talented stars of Kazakhstani ballet will perform on our stage. For our audience, this is a great opportunity not only to see them in one program but also to get acquainted with fragments from a wide variety of performances in one evening”, - said Nurlan Kanetov, artistic director of the “Astana Ballet” Theater.
The event will be held with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports in the framework of the 30th anniversary of the celebration of the Independence of Kazakhstan. Let us remind you that in March the metropolitan collective will present two more rich programs: on March 12-13, one-act ballets "Walpurgis Night" and "GAIA" will be shown, and on March 20, on the eve of Nauryz, the "Evening of National Ballet" will take place.
