“Love’s Lost Idols” is a lyrical meditation, a plastic paraphrase of the answer to the question: “How do we live and love, knowing that everything will come to an end?”. Nothing is forever, nothing is permanent, there is only “here” and “now”, only this can be fully perceived and be rejoiced.

The life of an artist on the stage is unpredictable and exciting. It has its ups and downs, strength and passion, risk and courage, sacrifice, and enjoyment. Awareness of the transience of life is particularly acute on the stage. For the artist, as well as for any person, the dilemma is relevant: there is no yesterday self, to return, to change something - it is impossible, and how I will be tomorrow is unknown. Where to wait for the signal to find the right path? For a moment, time is slowing down - this is “now.”

Nicolo Fonte:

“For this ballet, I chose the music of the Italian composer Ezio Bosso (“String Quartet No. 5 “Music for the Lodger”). This music is reminiscent of twilight, something similar to the light that seeks to seep through a crack in the wall in order to finally be free, it is like a strong, instant, emotional manifestation of joy or wonder”.
