The Astana Ballet Theatre Symphony Orchestra will be holding a unique concert on 14 June. The programme will present a selection of works by renowned composers, including Gioacchino Antonio Rossini, Maurice Ravel, Giovanni Bottesini, Franz Doppler, Karl Doppler and other foreign composers who have left an indelible mark on the treasure trove of world musical culture. The oriental flavour will be brought by the “Nocturne” by Tuvan composer Vladimir Tok, the melodic “Poem” by Kenzhebek Kumisbekov, as well as a medley of Kazakh songs arranged by Adilzhan Tolukpaev.
The music, performed by soloists and the orchestra, will bring together different eras and generations, connecting the past with the present and impressing listeners with vivid imagery, unusual national symbols and heartfelt sincerity. The orchestra’s artists possess both a high degree of creative potential and a professional skill level that enables them to perform the most complex scores of both domestic and foreign compositions. The performers will astonish the audience with the originality of their interpretation of the works, the depth of their immersion in the musical material and their dedication.
