"Zhusan" ("Wormwood") one-act ballet by contemporary choreographer Mukaram Avakhri will transfer into the atmosphere of mysterious Great Steppe, the symbol of our Motherland. Each of nine paintings of the ballet is a sketch about life of the nomads. Like scenes of ancient tales passed from mouth to mouth from generation to generation, they revive and recreate the history of steppe people. As the sky and the earth, the steppe and the wind are inseparable, so man and nature is a single whole, storing their memory in the astringent fragrance of inconspicuous wormwood.
