The opening ceremony of International Arts Festival of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states (SCO) took place at the Poly Theater in Beijing. The festival, organized at the initiative of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the PRC, is attended by the leading creative teams of the SCO member countries: representatives of Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, India, Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The framework of the festival includes: a folk music concert, a gala of folk dances and a photo exhibition of cultural heritage. Kazakh dance art will be presented by "Astana Ballet" theater with a choreographic miniature "Arular".
The popular composition "Arular" emphasizes the beauty and grace of young Kazakh beauties, as well as their softness, modesty and courtesy. Organic synthesis of choreography, musical material performed by the ethno-group "Turan", the costume design authentic with a national dress by the famous Kazakh artist Muslim Zhumagaliyev - all these components brought success to this dance composition.
According to the choreographer, the honored figure of Kazakhstan Aigul Tati, the presentation of the Kazakh culture at the concert of folk art of the SCO member states lays great responsibility and honor on the troupe, as the performance of the theater will show the choreographic art of our country.
Recall, the International Arts Festival of the SCO member states is held in order to further develop the multilateral humanitarian development of exchange and cooperation.
