Guest maestro Giuseppe Acquaviva will stand at the conductor’s desk, and Damir Saduakhasov will be the soloist. This concert can rightfully be named one of unexpected and pleasant surprises that the theatre will excite the Almaty audience with.

“I am very glad to have the opportunity to hold my first big concert in Almaty, in the city that I love very much and where my first creative steps, competitions and concerts took place. It is especially symbolic that the concert will be held on my 30th birthday. I am glad to have the chance to cooperate with the young talented and innovative orchestra of the Astana Ballet Theatre under the baton of the talented Italian conductor – maestro Giuseppe Acquaviva, with whom I have collaborated more than once,” Maria Mudryak says.

The audience will enjoy the versatility of opera art performed by Maria Mudryak at the concert. The evening program includes the overture to the opera “Carmen” by Georges Bizet, “Polonaise” from the opera “Eugene Onegin” by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, “Dein ist mein ganzes Herz” by Franz Lehár, “Granada” by Agustín Lara, “Parigi, o cara” from “La Traviata” by Giuseppe Verdi, “O Mio babbino caro” from “Gianni Schicchi” by Giacomo Puccini, and other works.

“I decided to design a program that combines serious operatic works from operas by Verdi, Gounod, Puccini, as well as works from the genre of German Operetta and Spanish Zarzuela. An outstanding tenor from Almaty – Damir Saduakhasov – will take part in the concert, with whom we have been familiar for a long time but have not yet worked together. I am very grateful to the theatre for this opportunity! I am looking forward to meeting the audience!”, – concluded Maria.

The tour will take place with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
