"Astana Ballet" Theater will host the II International Festival of Choreographic Art "Eurasian Dance Festival" on June 24-30, which was an important event in the world of ballet. The significant ballet festival is held within the framework of the 20th anniversary of the country's capital and realization of main tasks of the national program "Rukhani zhangyru" with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Eurasian Ballet Festival in Astana has become traditional and attractive both for stars of the world ballet and for young talents. Modern directions and creative searches of modern choreographers of the world working in different styles will meet again in our capital.
Spectators and participants of the festival will be able to once again get a unique opportunity to see both classical productions and get acquainted with new trends in development of ballet art. The festival will be attended by the ballet company of the National Ballet of China, the legendary Spanish band “Castro Romero”, the National Ballet of Portugal, the National Ballet of Slovenia, the National Ballet of Holland, Astana Opera, the GATOB named after Abay, “Astana Ballet” theater and soloists of the Bolshoi Theater (Russia).
Also, the Gala Concert of World Ballet Stars will take place for the first time on the stage of “Astana Ballet” Theater as part of the festival. Special guests of the evening, outstanding artists of the leading theaters of the world, will take part in it:

The program of the gala concert of famous ballet masters includes performances of modern choreographers, excerpts from famous ballets of the 20th century, as well as duets and solos, long recognized as pearls of the treasures of the world classical choreography.
