The audience enthusiastically welcomed the program and after the concert did not hide their admiration and joy that Astana Ballet performed “The Heritage of the Great Steppe” program. “I knew there would be a star level. Many thanks to the performers. This is a connection with great art,” one of the spectators said after the concert. Another added: “This is such an upbeat program. There is so much kindness and peace in it, and, of course, the highest level of professionalism of the artists.” No matter who approached the performers and organizers, everyone expressed the unanimous opinion that the concert caused a heartfelt thrill and tremendous delight, and everyone asked to come again.
The premiere of the choreographic miniature “Sarzhailau” staged by Aigul Tati to the music of Tattimbet took place on the main concert stage of Taraz. The Sarzhailau kyui contains the deep and ancient wisdom of the Great Steppe, as well as reflects the eternally young and incomprehensible beauty of its nature and great outdoors. The famous art expert from Azerbaijan Ulkar Aliyeva noted in her review: “In essence, Tati’s choreographic miniature is a choreographer’s attitude and vision of home nature. Through the softness of the lines, the arms “leaning” and reaching out to the sun, the body swaying from side to side, the choreographer reveals the expressive appearance of the golden, boundless grass steppe. The amazing style of folk dance and the vivid, decorative dance image create an atmosphere of beauty, harmony of nature and serenity.”
Any concert that includes “The Heritage of the Great Steppe” program takes place in a single burst. The concert in Taraz was no exception and left an unforgettable impression. The love of folk dance lives in the hearts of the audience; and the scenic national dance performed by dance art professionals only increases interest in the national dance and arouses the wish to see this program again, since each concert is unique.
