Hymn to spring, beauty, grace and national culture for the Nauryz holiday

The incredible beauty and entertainment program «The Heritage of the Great Steppe» will be presented to the audience on the stage of the «Astana Ballet» Theater. This program was enthusiastically accepted not only in Kazakhstan, but also abroad. Then again each time it sparkles with new facets, is enriched with new concert numbers, provides an opportunity to see the unique charm of the national dance, and familiar childhood steppe motifs penetrate the heart.

The «Heritage of the Great Steppe» program includes the best choreographic miniatures from the repertoire of the Theater, which harmoniously combines ethnographic elements and modern choreographer's decisions. Each choreographic miniature of Honored Workers of Kazakhstan Mukaram Avakhri and Aigul Tati is a striking mini-performance, with rich images, interesting dramaturgy, memorable melodies. Elements of national practices and rituals such as «Giving a bow» (bow in respect to the elder or the guest), the traditional national wedding ceremony «Betashar» are used in the plastic composition «Arular», which glorifies the beauty and grace of young Kazakh girls, their modesty and courtesy. The dance number «Asem Konyr», set to music by kuishi Dina Nurpeisova, is dedicated to Kazakh women: tender and gentle, proud and freedom-loving, full of love for their native land - the boundless and free Kazakh steppes. National Kazakh dances performed by artists of the «Astana Ballet» Theater reveal the soul of the people, its greatness, wisdom and sincerity. Spectators discover the many-sided, rich Kazakh culture and the captivating beauty of ballet art.

A fragment from the ballet «Alem» will allow the public to plunge into the incredible and mysterious world of the Turkic epic. An impressive plastic language, emotionally rich story about the birth of the soul, its way from heaven to earth through darkness and trials, will not leave anyone indifferent. Spectators will be amazed by the fancy light-video installations and an unusual 3D effect that allows artists to interact on the stage with holographic images.
