On July 14, the Astana Ballet Theatre will present a magnificent Astana Ballet Gala dedicated to the anniversary of the theatre, which will become an unforgettable event in the cultural life of the capital. The program will include excerpts from the most outstanding productions in the 10 years of the theatre’s history.
“Our theatre is a unique place where talented performers, choreographers, and tutors express themselves, contributing to the development of the art of Kazakhstan. Our main task is to create a unique program that everyone would like and remember for a long time, it is a manifestation of our passion, our talent, and our love for art. We always strive to astound and please all connoisseurs of theatrical art, we are working on every detail, so we invite everyone to celebrate our anniversary,” says Alexandr Sovostyanov, director of the theatre.
The program of the evening will feature the signature productions of the Astana Ballet Theatre: fragments from iconic classical and neoclassical productions – “Le Corsaire”, “Spartacus”, “Carmen Suite”, “The Legend of Love”, and many others; works by Brazilian choreographer Ricardo Amarante – “Diversity”, “Love Fear Loss”, “A Fuego Lento”; author’s and national ballets; as well as choreographic miniatures from such concert programs as “Oriental Rhapsody” and “The Heritage of the Great Steppe”. Besides, the audience will hear the compositions performed by the symphony orchestra of the theatre under the baton of maestro Arman Urazgaliyev.
“The history of our theatre is the history of the development of domestic choreographic art, which has taken place over the past 10 years. Astana Ballet Gala, dedicated to the anniversary celebration, is an important event for our theatre, which demonstrates the uniqueness and beauty of our creative work. We would like to delight the audience by showing the most beautiful pieces that have been created for 10 years and give unforgettable emotions,” said choreographer Aigul Tati.
It is worth noting that Astana Ballet Gala is a real theatrical work of art, where the perfect technique of performance is combined with the harmony of music.
