Ballet of the Future

The world behind the scenes is the way it exists only for those who serve the art of Terpsichore. As they say, there are many called in this temple, but few are chosen. Basement rooms, technical floors, storehouses of scenery are dumb witnesses to the process in which dance art is created. The walls of the halls and corridors of the theater are literally imbued with the secrets of creativity and emotions of artists who daily sharpen their skills.

Very soon, the dancers of "Astana ballet" will go beyond the ballet performance and appear in the lens of St. Petersburg photographer Alexei Krivtsov in an unexpected foreshortening.

Work, sweat, incredible loads for body, experience and overcoming, to create an image and pass it to viewers from the stage - easily, barely touching the floor, in a graceful flight ...

Sitting in the hall, the viewer sinks into the atmosphere of a miracle, not knowing how much effort and labor is invested in the performance.

Within the framework of the project "Seven Veils of Eurasia"
Cooperation of the capital theater and professional photographer from the ballet capital of the world is intended to illustrate what is usually hidden from the viewer's eyes.

Versatile images: from national motives to ultramodern experiments underscore the trend towards the development of ballet theaters at the present time towards versatility and flexibility.

Being in the heart of Eurasia, "Astana Ballet" surprisingly accurately combines the eastern attachment to the national traditional culture and the European modern freedom of expression. It is this that impresses and makes the viewer a participant of any performance, including the photo exhibition "Seven Veils of Eurasia".

The international exhibition will be held from April 12 to May 28 in the gallery ForteBank Kulanshi Artspace.
