On December 8, the creative company of the Astana Ballet Theatre performs on tour in Uralsk. The tour will take place with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture and Sports as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. On this day, an exquisite program will be presented on the stage of the “Atameken” Palace of Culture, including the best pieces of national choreography and a neoclassical one-act ballet.
In the first section, there is the theatre’s showpiece, the “Heritage of the Great Steppe” concert program, which is traditionally included in its tour playbill. The public will be presented with the work of Kazakhstani choreographer Aigul Tati, Honoured figure of Kazakhstan, one of the leading balletmasters of Kazakh dances in the republic.
Colourful choreographic works reflect the diverse philosophy of the mindset of the nomadic people. “The Heritage of the Great Steppe” is a unique set of dance miniatures, which harmoniously combines ethnographic material and modern choreography, but simultaneously retains a sense of the character and unique originality of the national dance. Aesthetics, spectacularity, and unique artistic images forever sink into the heart and delight spectators in the entire world.
“A Fuego Lento”, which means “slow fire”, is a ballet with the elements of Brazilian samba and tango to the music of great Argentine composers. This ballet is equally loved by both performers and the audience for its unstoppable energy and charisma. The production by the guest choreographer Ricardo Amarante inevitably excites the delight of the audience everywhere in the world: it was presented on the stage of the Theatre Royal in Covent Garden (London), Lincoln Center (New York), Grimaldi Forum Monaco (Monte Carlo), etc.
This is a free flight of the choreographer’s fantasy about love and desire. This is a ballet-passion in the genre of neoclassics about feelings that excite the blood of lovers. Throughout the stage action, “A Fuego Lento” keeps the audience in a state of rapture and hypnotic fascination due to the virtuoso technique of performance, genuine zeal, and keen feelings.
