The seventh theatrical season "Astana Ballet" continues with new tours. This time, performances from the theatre’s repertoire will be seen by residents and guests of Pavlodar. Within two days - November 1 and 2 - the metropolitan team will present a rich program on the stage of the Estai Palace of Culture: a masterpiece of world ballet - “Serenade” by George Balanchine, as well as the work of guest choreographer Ricardo Amarante - “A Fuego Lento” and “Love Fear Loss ".
Although the ballet premiered in 1934, the Serenade is still considered the "absolute" of dance musicality, imagery and emotionality, in which choreography is inseparable from music. The premiere in Nur Sultan took place in 2017 in collaboration with the George Balanchine Trust, and in accordance with the standards of style and technique of the choreographer. Today “Astana Ballet” is the only theatre in Central Asia, whose repertoire includes ballets of the American neoclassic. The show of the famous Serenade to Tchaikovsky’s music will be a real gift for Pavlodar connoisseurs of high dance art.
Also, works of the theatre’s neoclassical repertoire announced on the tour poster: “Love Fear Loss” and “A Fuego Lento”. Their creator, the guest choreographer of the theatre from Brazil, Ricardo Amarante, is already familiar to the Pavlodar audience with his work “GAIA”, which the metropolitan team presented during the first tour three years ago.
It is worth noting that at the end of November “Astana Ballet” will go on tour in US cities. In addition, this year the theatre will delight the audience with another new performance, directed by a choreographer from Russia.
