On April 5, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the «Astana Ballet» Theater signed bilateral memorandums between the theater and «Kazakh Tourism» JSC, and concluded agreements with the Astana Convention Bureau, the Astana and Eurasian Tourism Associations. Memorandums and agreements are aimed for increasing the attractiveness and competitiveness of the tourism cluster of Nur-Sultan city and the country as a whole, for attracting foreign tourists to Kazakhstan, as in a country with a rich history, traditions and culture.
«Astana Ballet» will become one of the tourist brands of the capital of Kazakhstan. A visit to the theater and the acquaintance of Kazakhstan and foreign guests of the republic with the work of the «Astana Ballet» Theater will be one of the attractive cultural offers for tourists.
The theater was built at the initiative of the first President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarabayev. The repertoire of «Astana Ballet» includes ballets and concert programs of various genres: from classical and neoclassical to contemporary and national dance. The repertoire includes more than 20 performances staged by well-known choreographers of Kazakhstan and Russia, the USA and Germany, China and Brazil; several concert programs, including choreographic miniatures in classical, neoclassical and folk style - all this allows to include a visit to the «Astana Ballet» Theater in the tour package.
