Starting from April 20th, the “Astana Ballet” theater, together with the Eurasian
Dance Festival, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the
Republic of Kazakhstan, is launching an online broadcast of performances and gala
concerts held as part of the international festival of ballet art on the stage of the
capital's theater.
“In anticipation of the artists and spectators return to the theater, we decided to
open the access to the archived videos of the brightest productions that were shown
on our stage by eminent theaters and dance groups from Europe and Asia. For
three years, this ballet festival has become one of the most anticipated events in the
cultural calendar of Kazakhstan. We invite our first-time viewers to get to know
the productions and the rest of the viewers to enjoy their favorite productions once
again,” has announced the theater's management.
Spectators will see the recordings of the festival, which has brought classical
masterpieces, folk art, and performances by the most imminent choreographers of
our time together.
So, the new format of meeting with the spectators will start with the stellar gala
ballet, in which artists from Russia, Portugal, Holland, Germany, and Kazakhstan
have participated. The online broadcast will take place on April 20th at 20:00, Nur-
Sultan time on the official YouTube channel of the “Astana Ballet” theater. For
those who do not have time to watch the recording in real-time, the performances
will be available for 24 hours after publication.
